| 6/7/2022 | Rapidly grow your network and make connections with 60-Second Networking!
The Delaware Small Business Chamber’s 60-Second Networking event allows small business to connect in multiple ways. The event itself, not unlike speed dating, rotates members through, with each pair being given 60 seconds for their “elevator pitch.” By the end, each person will have talked to up to 23 other business people.
At the beginning of the event, participants will be given a card to mark their top 6 choices for future connections. The DSBC will collect those cards and create special 6-Top Mingle events to enhance your connections.

It’s mostly for curious-minded business owners and professionals who want to get better at what they do, ask questions of others, and share insights into what they extracted from the book. The business book for June is High Performance Habits by Brendon Burchard. We all want to be high performing in every area of our lives. But how? Which habits can help you achieve long-term success and vibrant well-being no matter your age, career, strengths, or personality? To become a high performer, you must seek clarity, generate energy, raise necessity, increase productivity, develop influence, and demonstrate courage. This book is about the art and science of how to practice these proven habits. Through guided discussion questions, we’ll talk about the book and, specifically, how you can use its message to propel your business. There are several different kinds of financial advisors that give clients guidance on various aspects of the financial world. These advisors include: Investment advisors. Brokers: Certified financial planner. Financial coach. Wealth advisor:  How do you know who you should bring on and what are some of the warning signs you should look for? Not Certified: There are many great people out there with good advise but being certified is becoming the gold standard because CFPs are required to adhere to the Board’s standards of professional conduct.
