True Access Capital, formerly known as the First State Community Loan Fund, has been dedicated to building a thriving and inclusive community since 1992. Our mission is to empower a diverse base of entrepreneurs and businesses through access to capital, education, advocacy, and opportunity. We are passionate about providing creative and innovative solutions to meet employer, customer, and partner needs.
Our vision is a vibrant and inclusive community where all entrepreneurs and small businesses can realize their dreams. We believe in breaking down barriers and providing opportunities for all people to reach their full potential. Our values of integrity, dignity, equity, and inclusivity guide us in all that we do.
Originally established by the Episcopal General Convention to stimulate economic growth in underserved communities across Wilmington, Delaware, our organization has evolved over the years to serve other communities across Delaware and southeastern Pennsylvania. To date, True Access Capital has disbursed nearly $30 million to more than 1,100 small businesses and community organizations.
